What is christmas? deep question I suppose. But it’s different for everyone I guess. For me and my family it’s coming together and enjoying each others company. We’re lucky in that we aren’t in the middle of a massive dispute or anything. Anyway, rght now me and my cousin and my little sister are playing on the new singstar game – Take That edition. So good. anyway, after a rousing session of potter puppet pals…

Okay, so I realise it’s quite antisocial of me to do this but I felt like hiding away from the family and going on my brand new macbook. Yes. I know. I had no idea I was going to get it but boy am I happy about it!
I would go int the shpeel I said to my parents but frankly, I don’t want to cry twice in one morning. Anyway, I just wanted to say hi, and merry christmas
X Factor has come to an end and I’m happy that Joe won, despite the fact that the song is indeed by Miley Cyrus. But oh well, I still bought it.
I also bought the new 30 Seconds to Mars song. 4 years is too long my friends, and we’ve missed you…alot.
Just a short one today, I’m stuffed with risotto and I’m struggling to focus.

It’s been a while, but that’s because alot has been happening. First off, I had the last week of school, which I missed two days of because I was ill. Then on saturday I finally went to the Ice Ball (the dress was amazing!!!) which ended at 2am, followed by a 9am 2 mile run dressed as Santa for charity on the sunday.
As to be expected, I have alot of bruises and scratches on my legs and I’m not entirely sure how they got there. But this is a fact of life I shall accept.
But onto the topic of my title. I have recently re-discovered an obsession I had back when I was a pre-teen, namely the Sims. Only this time, it’s the Sims3. It’s so addictive and I find myself playing it at any given time, and then posting my pictures and things up on the site. Hopefully this won’t develop into a full blown issue, but I can sense the themse of many of my future posts.
But no one really reads this, so I guess it’s mine and my computers dirty little secret. 🙂
Anyway, now it’s the Xmas Holidays and life is breezy, if a little too cold for my liking. Of course, I’m British so it’s second nature to complain about the weather.

The dress hunt has ended. After nearly a month of trawling through various high street stores and boutiques, teh intarwebz has come to my rescue in the form of boohoo.com
Planning for the ball itself is going smoothly, and I’m very excited about how the decorations will pan out, although I still need to get hold of 30 sets of fairy lights…I might have a light binge in town.

As the party season draws nearer I am stuck for a dress. Next friday I have a ball to go to, which I’m co-planning and organising with an ice theme.
I have seen plenty of perfect dresses but here’s the kicker. I need a blue dress. Mainly beacause I will be going to a murder mystery party hopefullyas Mrs.Peacock.
However, I think I may just go with silver and go as some generic girl.

Do you ever wish you had a soundtrack to your life?
It’s a common thought of mine. So when you experience those really epic/dramatic moments in life, it’s accompanied by some sort of music. It could have lyrics which capture the spirit of the moment. Or it could instrumental, just describing the feeling and emotions through pure and simple notes.
I think my soundtrack would consist of alot of Muse, maybe some Enrique Iglesias. A touch of Britney Spears for good measure, and a healthy slosh of Boys Like Girls and of course The Who.
Well, that’s what I would like to feature. But knowing me, it would most likely end up as a mixed assemblance of ragged indie pop and bizarre compilations with foreign lyrics.

Ah, December first! finally it’s here. And in true british style, we have been graced with 0 degrees of weather. I am struggling to type as my fingers on my right hand have stiffened to a point where I might as well be wearing massive gloves.
Anyway! I enjoyed a advent calendar choccy today and I am certainly feeling the christmas spirit. Also we have a garland…I know right!

Okay, so now thanksgiving has passed we’re all getting excited about Christmas!!! Of course many people don’t share this enthusiasm, while others take it as a chance to make profound observations…
I for one revert to a five year old girl who screams and jumps every time wham comes onto the radio.

I don’t know about you, but ever since the whole “2012” thing started up, there have been ALOT of articles on the web about how to survive a zombie uprising.
Now I myself feel quite prepared because of this (I have my head shots timed to perfection and a year’s supply of Mike and Ike’s). But I can’t help but wonder why there has been a rush of these survival guides.
I don’t know if the ancient Mayan civilisation predicted an undead army who would strike the earth rendering it lifeless…if they did, that would be impressive. Perhaps they predicted that they would come back…maybe we should be preparing for a Mayan takeover?
Then again, this could all be some overly dramatic ruse, we tend to go through these every so often…like economic recessions.
